Skill Sets for Sportsmetrics Internship

  • Targeted toward students pursuing a degree in the health and fitness, exercise science, athletic training, sports medicine, sports management, personal training or related field
  • Must possess leadership qualities
  • Must have common knowledge of human anatomy
  • Must have some experience in working with athletes
  • Must possess outgoing personality and be able to coach a team of athletes
  • Must be able to demonstrate jumping and agility drills
  • Must be able to break down and extract important data in research articles
  • Must be team-oriented

Responsibilities

  • Work with Cincinnati SportsMedicine staff to implement the nationally recognized Sportsmetrics™ program in the Cincinnati area
  • Help with the Sportsmetrics Sports Injury Testing before and after training
  • Input data collection
  • Review research articles
  • Filing and other administrative duties
  • Make calls to national Sportsmetics sites
  • May help with Sportsmetrics Certification courses
