Skill Sets for Sportsmetrics Internship
- Targeted toward students pursuing a degree in the health and fitness, exercise science, athletic training, sports medicine, sports management, personal training or related field
- Must possess leadership qualities
- Must have common knowledge of human anatomy
- Must have some experience in working with athletes
- Must possess outgoing personality and be able to coach a team of athletes
- Must be able to demonstrate jumping and agility drills
- Must be able to break down and extract important data in research articles
- Must be team-oriented
Responsibilities
- Work with Cincinnati SportsMedicine staff to implement the nationally recognized Sportsmetrics™ program in the Cincinnati area
- Help with the Sportsmetrics Sports Injury Testing before and after training
- Input data collection
- Review research articles
- Filing and other administrative duties
- Make calls to national Sportsmetics sites
- May help with Sportsmetrics Certification courses
